Webinar, January 20th, 2023, with the Special Needs Advocacy Network in Massachusetts. Parents and advocates will learn how to determine if an evaluation report meets requirements, an IEP goal is well crafted, and alternatives to traditional speech-language pathology services have been considered.
* Participants will be asked to review an example evaluation report and an IEP goal in advance of the workshop.
About the Presenter – Chaunta Tsegaye is an Insurance Specialist at Autism Alliance of Michigan. Chaunta is responsible for helping families learn about the options available for additional insurance plans, appeals/denials, and also helping adult members find the best available health insurance options. Chaunta’s role at AAoM has expanded to include Community Outreach for underserved communities.
