Legislative Breakfast for Supporting Developmental & Intellectual Disabilities FamiiesVirtual Event, December 13th, 2022, with the MinuteMan Arc of Concord, MA. Free Parent / Guardian Training. As a follow-up to the MinuteMan Arc’s October  2022 meeting on different housing options, they will continue the conversation by looking at residential models that are more common.
* The evening’s conversation topics will include Group Residences, Shared Living, and Independent Living, along with what supports are available within each and the process by which you may try to gain access for your loved one.
* You need not have participated in Part 1 to derive valuable information from this presentation.

About the presenters:
Ryan Haskins is the Director of Residential Services for Minute Man Arc. Ryan oversees 8 community-based group homes, 3 shared living programs, the independent living program serving approximately 25 adults, and the adult foster care program serving approximately 55 individuals. Ryan has worked for MMA for 10 years and was previously the Director of Quality Improvement and Training, Director of Day Habilitation, and Assistant Director of Employment Services.
Shailee Anderson is the Assistant Director of the Independent Living, Shared Living, and Adult Foster Care programs  at the MinuteMan Arc, for which she oversees approximately 74 individuals. While working in human services, Shailee has made a positive impact on diverse populations including developmentally disabled children and adults, children with behavioral disorders and challenging backgrounds, and adults with mental health needs. She is always seeking new ways to advocate for these individuals and help empower them and families.
