April 27th, 2024, with Perkins School for the Blind in Watertown, MA. Free. The Early Connections Conference brings together families with children from birth to age 7 who are blind, deafblind, or low-vision, including those who have multiple complex disabilities—to engage with each other and leading professionals in the field.
2024 Key Note Address:
Robbin Clark, Curriculum & Instruction Specialist. Robbin Clark is the Curriculum & Instruction Specialist at the Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind, specializing in the Expanded Core Curriculum. Robbin Clark will share her experiences as a family member, educator and previous Early Connections Conference attendee to address the rewards and challenges of supporting children with vision impairments. She will cover the five E’s of empowerment (Educate, Expect, Experience, Experiment, and Expanded Core) and insights from families she has served throughout her career.
