Virtual Conference September 24th – 26th, 2020, with McLean Hospital in Belmont, MA. A virtual course on the latest information in the fields of psychiatry and mental health. Topics will include:

This event will feature speakers and clinicians in specialized practices.
* Panel presentations, Q&A sessions, and other engaging learning formats will be used to assist participants in developing new strategies they can apply in their practice settings.
* Participants will learn about how to:
- Evaluate recent developments in psychopharmacology and their impact on patient care
- Develop strategies to care for patients suffering from bipolar and psychotic disorders, depression and anxiety disorders, borderline personality disorder, eating disorders, substance use disorders, PTSD, OCD, and sleep disorders
- Assess suicidal patients and engage more effectively with them
- Diagnose and treat mental health disorders that occur around the time of menopause
- Diagnose common problems in geriatric psychiatry and implement state-of-the-art interventions
Assess patients for risk for violence - Discuss the connections between metabolic and mental disorders and the rationale for considering the ketogenic diet as a treatment for mental disorders
