Raising Resilient Children Workshop in MassachusettsWebinar, February 6th, 2024, with the Lurie Center for Autism in Lexington, MA. 
Designed for parents of children of all ages, this interactive virtual workshop series helps caregivers understand the basic principles of behavior to better manage challenging behaviors at home.
Session Dates: Tuesday evenings, February 6th, 13th and 27th, 6:00 p.m.
* Open to parents of children of any age.
* Participants do not need to be Lurie Center for Autism patients.
* Discussion focuses on evidence-based applied behavior analysis (ABA) and applying this methodology to daily life.
* They recommend completing all three sessions in sequence.
PART 1 – INTRO TO ABA. Provides an ABA process overview and covers important topics such as data collection, assessment, daily schedule, and proactive strategies.
PART 2 – REINFORCEMENT AND LIMIT SETTING. The topics of reinforcement, limit setting, and other behavioral interventions will be discussed.
PART 3 – PROBLEM SOLVING ABA. What to look for in an ABA program and what to do when your child is not making progress.
