April Theme: Ancient Greece and Sculpture. Dive into the world of Ancient Greek sculpture and art. Discover the important role that art played in Ancient Greek society, particularly in the depiction of various gods and goddesses. By observing and discussing the ways in which Greek artists chose to represent their deities, gain a deeper understanding of the spiritual beliefs and cultural values that were central to this ancient civilization.
* After this discussion, put newfound knowledge into action by heading to the studio to create sculptures inspired by ancient Greek mythology.
