Family Mental Health and Behavioral Support in MassachusettsWebinar, October 24th, 2024, with the Boston Ability Center. They will be hosting Hand-in-Hand instructor Emily Murray. The Hand in Hand Approach to Parenting provides parents with tools for raising resilient, emotionally intelligent children through playful and meaningful parent-child connections, while simultaneously supporting parents through the challenging work of parenting.
In this session you will:

  • Gain a deeper understanding of why big feelings and outbursts happen.
  • Learn how Hand in Hand’s Connection Tools can help you get to the root cause of off-track behavior.
  • Get ideas for how to prevent tantrums and meltdowns, address big feelings in the moment, and repair if needed.
  • Hear about how to keep your cool and refuel when you’re feeling drained from managing feelings and behaviors.
  • Have an opportunity to ask questions and get ideas about your specific situation.
