Jamaica Plain, MA, September 11th – November 20th, 2020. For ages 8-14 with an intellectual disability, learning disability, developmental delay, or anything that would make a small, slower-paced dance class more appropriate than one with other peers.
* Will offer a small class size, student:teacher ratio of 6:1, visuals, breaks, social emotional learning opportunities
* This class will always include time for opening and closing circle, games to teach ballet and general dance technique, free movement breaks, and a dance combo.
* During the class students will learn a variety of dance forms, while social emotional skills are reinforced.
* The class will be differentiated for individual student needs.
