JFK Library Sensory Friendly event for familiesDorchester, MA, August 7th, 2024. Free. For people with and people without disabilities. Learn about JFK’s formative years in the Young Jack exhibit, join him on the campaign trail up through election night, and experience the 1,000 days of his presidency in our galleries.
* Sensory-friendly materials, large text options, adaptive craft opportunities, a limited number of noise canceling headphones, and multiple quiet spaces will be available throughout the Museum.
* Visitors can prepare for their visit with a social narrative.
* Boston Public Library will offer related resources, takeaways, and the opportunity to sign up for a free library card.
* National Park Service rangers from the John F. Kennedy National Historic Site will be onsite so visitors can learn more about the President’s birthplace in Brookline, MA.
