Managing Educator Anxiety in the Classroom Mask for teachers students with special needs in classroom in MassachusettsWebinar, June 29th, 2022, with The Western Mass Family Leadership Program at MCS, In partnership with Mass Families /MFOFC and MCS Family Support Centers. MCS is an associate of Mass Families / MFOFC.
* Moving Forward in a Post-Pandemic, New Normal World – A workshop addressing resilience and self-care for families and caregivers.
The challenges faced by families impacted by disabilities increased dramatically over the past two years – school and program closures, employment challenges, and issues with physical and mental health are just a few examples.
But how can families return to normal? And what should normal mean? This workshop will look at strategies to move forward with managing family life in healthy, positive ways.
Presented by: Maria Tricarico, RN, MA, nursing administrator, consultant and educator. Maria’s areas of concentration include communication, problem solving, grief mitigation, leadership and ethics. Her career at the Department of Public Health focused on efforts such as providing care during disease outbreaks and resurgences, and healthcare challenges of marginalized populations.
