Life of Pi Accessible performance in Boston 2223Cambridge, MA, January 19th, 2023. Life of Pi. Sixteen-year-old Pi and his family set off to emigrate from India, but after their ship sinks in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, Pi is left stranded on a lifeboat with just four other survivors—a hyena, a zebra, an orangutan, and a Royal Bengal tiger. Time is against them, nature is harsh, who will survive? * This imaginative theatrical adaptation brings this work of fiction to the stage to tell its epic story of endurance and hope.
* Open captioning is a text display of words and sounds heard during an event. A professional captioner prepares the captions ahead of time and runs the captions on an LED display live during the performance. The captioner has full control over the display of the captions, allowing for precise alignment with the text of the play. The display is positioned in such a way that it is open for anyone to see in a particular seating area.
