Webinar, February 11th, 2025, with the Special Needs Housing & Transition Group of Wakefield, MA. Guest speaker will be Andrew Forman, Senior Disability Advocate for the Boston Center for Independent Living (BCIL).
* Andy will share information about Affordable Housing which will include information about Section 8 mobile vouchers, public housing, project based housing and mixed income housing.
* Andy will also share information about the BCIL, and their “core services” such as peer mentoring, skills training, information and referral, advocacy, and transition.
* There are other Independent Living Centers strategically located around the state.
* The BCIL is the oldest and was the second independent living center in the country and has been serving our community since 1974.
