Autism Workshop in MassachusettsWebinar, August 22nd, 2021, with the Autism / Aspergers Network in Watertown, MA. Join us for a virtual panel discussion featuring parents of adults on the spectrum. Hear their stories and insights from their parenting journey. How did they talk with their child about disclosure? How did they navigate their child’s journey into young adulthood?

About the speakers: 
* Lynne Mitchell is a clinical social worker and the clinical director of Granite Academy, a middle/high school that serves students with social-emotional needs as well as students with ASD. Lynne has been specializing in AS professionally even before she was faced with AS at home. She presents to parent groups and conferences, giving both the perspective of the child and the parent as they face the ups and downs that come with living with AS.
* Lisa Stringfellow is a middle-school teacher and mother to three young adults on the spectrum. Lisa writes middle-grade fiction. Her professional work has appeared in many major publications.  Lisa lives and works in Massachusetts with her children.
