Amy Mezuliz, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist and author of, Reversing the Spiral of Depression for Teens: Simple Actions to Improve Mood, Boost Motivation, and Build the Life You Want. Dr. Mezuliz specializes in teen depression. She is Professor Emeritus at Seattle Pacific University. Dr. Mezulis’ research on teen depression has been funded by the National Institute of Mental Health, the National Association of Research in Schizophrenia and Depression, and the American Psychological Association. Dr. Mezulis lives in the greater Seattle area and is the parent of two young adults).
Susan Weinstein, JD, Moderator – Susan Weinstein, JD, Co-Executive Director, has been primarily responsible for programs and finances at Families for Depression Awareness since 2012. Susan was diagnosed with depression in her teens and has drawn from her personal experiences to inform FFDA’s curriculum. She serves on the Executive Committee and as Governance Committee Chair of the Massachusetts Coalition for Suicide Prevention. Susan is a graduate of Wellesley College and the Boston University School of Law.
