Symphony Hall, Boston, March 22nd. Sensory-Friendly Concert: “Sounding Together: An Exploration of Courage, Caution, and Kindness”. Thomas Wilkins, conductor, is an Artistic Partner, Education and Community Engagement, Boston Symphony Orchestra, Germeshausen Youth and Family Concerts Conductor, endowed in perpetuity. Accessibility Offerings at Symphony Hall include:
- Assistive Listening Devices- Please let an usher know if you need a device when entering the hall. Patrons may use their own headset and receiver.
- Inductive hearing loop – accessible with any hearing aid or listening device equipped with a Telecoil.
- Accessible Seating – for a wheelchair and a companion seat on the orchestra floor in rows Q, X, and W.
- Braille programs are available by advance request only.
- Accessible water fountains.
- Elevators and a wheelchair-accessible ramp.
- Large-print program.
- Nursing Parent’s Room
- Accessible Restrooms. There is also a gender neutral restroom on the first balcony level.
- Service animals only are welcomed in Symphony Hall. Patrons bringing their service animal to a concert should inform a representative when purchasing tickets at the Subscription Office
