July Theme: Marvelous Miniatures: In this session, explore the world of miniature art throughout history. From ancient Egyptian amulets to contemporary dollhouses, we will examine the ways in which artists have used small scale to create intricate and detailed works of art.
* After our exploration, we head to the studio to create our own miniature sculptures using Model Magic.
* This hands-on experience will allow us to channel our creativity and put into practice the techniques and styles we learned about in our discussion of miniature art.
* By participating in this session, learn about the ways in which artists have used small scale to create amazing works of art but also gain an appreciation for the importance of attention to detail in art-making.
