Boston, Museum of Fine Arts, May 20th, 2023. For teens with Autism Spectrum and Aspergers Disorders ages 13 to 18. Focus on specific art topics and incorporate discussion, critical inquiry, and sketching in the galleries. Students then work independently on a project with guidance from an experienced instructor
May’s Theme: Playing With Prints and Pictures – Explore the ways artists use the traditional mediums of photography and printmaking in unexpected ways. Look at two new exhibits that feature creative techniques, bold colors, and inventive artists.
* After exploring in the galleries, return to the studio to create innovative prints using Gelli plates and magazines. This will be a fun, experimental session that will allow participants to try something new and create their own unique works of art.
* Join this session to learn more about the way artists can reinvent classic mediums like photography and printmaking.
