Open Door Theater of Acton is a non-profit, accessible community theater company that has been creating learning experiences through theater for adults and children with and without disabilities
About the play: Ugly looks quite a bit different from his siblings, and others are quick to notice and point this out. Ugly is kind-hearted, awkward and innocent, and his journey of self-discovery is the heart of the show.
* ASL interpretation, sighted guides, alternative format print (braille, large electronic), materials in advance, adaptive choreography, wheeled music stands, mentorship and more.
* The theater provides an ASL Vlog and ASL character guide pre-show and online.
* Performances often feature Deaf and Hard of Hearing Actors on stage.
