Virtual Event, April 24th – 28th, 2023, with the Institute for Community Inclusion at the UMass Boston. Free and open to the public. Kicking off the “Think Higher. Think College” Public Awareness campaign, this is a week-long event that aims to raise awareness about college options for individuals with intellectual disability.
* The public awareness campaign is part of the Think College Inclusive Higher Education Network’s work to promote inclusive postsecondary education opportunities for all. The campaign will increase knowledge of inclusive college options, share information about the benefits and outcomes of students with intellectual disability attending college, and offer people ways to spread the message: “Think Higher. Think College.”
* The week will offer daily virtual learning events sharing information and resources for students, families, educators, transition professionals, and higher education personnel.
* ASL and live captions will be provided for each event.
