Disability Resource Program, Springfield, MA. The Disability Resource Program (DRP) www.chd.org  www.cfs.org is for individuals of all skill levels and ages with physical disabilities and visual impairments, and offers adaptive sports, organized activities, support groups and self-advocacy. 
   For a membership fee of $25 per year, which helps offset program and equipment costs, members receive reduced rates on activities, special events and equipment loans, as well as a subscription to the monthly newsletter. Participants can borrow equipment for a nominal fee, including handcycles, sport wheelchairs, bi-ski, mono-skis, and bowling equipment.         
   The Disability Resource Program offers information on a network of agencies and services throughout the Pioneer Valley.  DRP's support groups for individuals with physical disabilities. To become a participant, please call 413-788-9695 or email the Disability Resource Program: nbazanchuk@chd.org

- Adaptive Sports & Activities
- Social outings such as movies, dinners, or concerts, reduced rates on activities, special events and equipment loans
- Community Presentations to address questions, concerns and ideas about physical disabilities

A Resource Library made up of books and videos on a wide variety of topics.
- Support Services and groups provide encouragement, education and a healing environment for individuals with physical disabilities living in an able bodied world. Group participants meet with both a psychotherapist and a disabilities professional.
