Special Olympics Massachusetts: 
Provides year round sports training and athletic competition in activities such as gymnastics, volleyball, racewalking and much more. For all persons with intellectual disabilities. Visit our front page.
Free Special Needs Workshops for Parent Groups:
The Federation For Children With Special Needs (FCSN) offers parent groups of 10 or more some workshops for free during the school year. Topics offered include Basic Rights and An IEP for My Child in English, Spanish and Portuguese. More info and topics on our front page.
"The Sibling Experience" Workshops and Speaker:
Hosted by The American Association of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (AAIDD). Saturday, October 17, 2009, 9 am - 12 noon, Warwick, RI. Featuring Keynote speaker Rachel Simon, author of "Riding the Bus with My Sister" Front page, under "Events".

Saturday, October 31,  Worcester, MA,  8 a.m. Hosted by the Autism Resource Center of Central Massachusetts. Workshop topics include Continuation of Religion, Teens and Sexuality, and Panel Discussion with Religious Educators Political Advocacy

MDSC "Advocates in Motion" Teen Social Program :  
Hosted by the Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress, the AIM program provides inclusive, interactive events and fosters social relationships for young people with Down syndrome, ages 13-22,  at the Waltham YMCA, unless otherwise noted. Look for "Teens and Young Adults" on our front page.
ADHD Parent Support Group Meeting:

Tuesday October 13, 2009, 7 p.m., and the 2nd Tuesday of each month, in Sudbury. Hosted by the Metrowest CHADD. You do not need to be a member of CHADD to attend.  Front Page  


Home Modification Loan Program Conference Call:  
Tuesday, October 20, 2009 , 12 noon - 1 pm.  Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission's (HMLP) Outreach Coordinator will discuss the MRC's no or low interest loans for homeowners and small landlords to modify homes. Participants may ask questions about their own situations. MassMedLine: 
MassMedLine is a free, confidential service for Massachusetts residents seeking information about medications. Pharmacists and case managers will answer questions about pharmacy issues or finding programs to help with the costs. Interpreters are available. In our Mental Health "Family Services" section.

Created for latino families dealing with autism, and offers advice, information about IEPS and more. Visit our Spanish page.
