Disability Resource Fair: Meet Therapists, Camps and More:
In Quincy, free and open to the public. Meet exhibitors from area state agencies, camps, hospital programs, therapists, advocacy organizations, recreational venues and enjoy activities and refreshments.  Details on our front page. 

Sensory Friendly Films: "Diary of a Wimpy Kid": 

March 20th, Framingham. Families can dance, walk, shout or sing and even bring their own snacks at the monthly "Sensory Friendly Films" movies. They turn up the lights and turn down the noise. See our front page.

We've just added the Piers Park Sailing Center's Adaptive Sailing Program in Boston to our Camp 2010 page. More than 50 other camps serving the disability community are listed for parents to choose from.

Care For The Care Giver: Family-to-Family Program:
Free,  March 24 - June 9, 2010, in Framingham. This NAMI state-wide education includes current information about mental health and brain disorders, coping with worry, stress, emotional overload, and locating appropriate supports and services. On our front page.
Transition Planning Training-In Portuguese and English
Free: March 27, in New Bedford. For parents with teens/young adults ages 14 -22, this course also includes individual consultation time with attorneys from legal services agencies. Front Page.
Legislative Mental Health Advocacy Day in Boston:
Monday, March 29. Get hands-on experience in advocating for mental health funding, learn tips for influencing key legislative committees and how you can affect the state budget to address real issues. See our Front Page.
