Universal Access Recreation Program-Summer 2009:
People of all ages with Special Needs can enjoy accessible recreation such as Adaptive Bikes for Big People, Sailing on the Charles River, Kayaking, Canoeing, Cycling, Rowing, Accessible Hiking, Fishing, and Horseback Riding in many Massachusetts locations. See our front page under "Events".
Massachusetts Mental Health Parity Expanded:
A new law, effective July 1, 2009, adds eating disorders, PTSD, substance abuse and autism to the list of "biologically-based" mental disorders that must be covered to the same extent as physical illnesses.
