Free "Fun Fridays" at Massachusetts Museums and Attractions:

The Highland Street Foundation (HSF) is sponsoring free "Fun Fridays" for Massachusetts residents and tourists to visit a designated museum or attraction for free, on Fridays this summer, at attractions such as Plymouth Plantation, The Stone Zoo,  The Peabody Essex Museum, The Boston Museum of Fine Arts and Springfield Museums. See our front page under "Events."

Autism Awareness Night at the Worcester Tornados Game: 
August 14, 2009, 7:05 p.m, Fitton Field, Worcester. Sponsored by the Autism Resource Center of Central Massachusetts. North Shore Mothers Support Group:
The Arc of Greater Haverhill-Newburyport will be offering a monthly group meeting for women who have family members with developmental disabilities. The meetings will foster networking with other mothers and will feature a variety of speakers. http://www.spedchildmass. 
Share Your Transition Experience:
The Federation for Children with Special Needs recently developed a brief, on line  Transition survey to gather information on the Transition experiences of students who were ages 14 - 22 during the 2008-2009 school year. Parent, students or advocates can find information on our front page, "Teens and Young Adults."
 
Fire Safety Training Fall 2009:
