Webinar: Having a Sibling with Mental Health Challenges During Covid-19 Webinar for Massachusetts familiesBeverly, MA, March 21st & 22nd, with the Family & Professional Learning Center at the
Northshore Education Consortium.
The Youth Mental Health First Aid workshop teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adolescents ages 12-18.  Build skills and confidence you need to reach out and provide initial support to young people who are struggling.
* Space is limited and registration closes March 14.
* This course is intended for adults age 19+.  After the two 4 hour sessions course, you’ll be able to:

  • Recognize common signs and symptoms of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, eating disorders and attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD)
  • Recognize common signs and symptoms of substance use challenges
  • Understand how to interact with a young person in crisis
  • Know how to connect a young person with help
  • Better understand trauma, substance use, self-care and the impact of social media and bullying
  • Training qualifies for 8 PDPs through Northshore Education Consortium
  • You must attend both sessions to qualify for PDPs and to receive a Youth Mental Health First Aid training certificate
