wheelchair10 Park Plaza, 2nd Floor, Conference Rooms 2 and 3 , Boston, December 19th, 2016. The Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation and the Office of the Attorney General jointly welcome interested members of the public, consumers, consumer advocates, businesses and other stakeholders to attend an informational session and provide oral or written testimony regarding the creation of a Wheelchair Lemon Law arbitration program and the process for arbitration hearings.
* The purpose of the Wheelchair Lemon Law Arbitration Program would be to provide consumers who have paid all costs out of pocket for their private purchase or lease of a customized wheelchair and have a dispute arising under M.G.L. c. 93, §107 an opportunity to submit such dispute to the arbitration program for resolution.
