Ed, Assistant Director of Transition with the Boston Public Schools Special Education Department, will be the speaker.
* This workshop is designed for those with little experience with Applied Behavior Analysis and those wishing for a refresher on this information.
* Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a therapy based on the science of learning and behavior.. The goal is to increase behaviors that are helpful and decrease behaviors that are harmful or affect learning. ABA therapy programs can help with increasing language and communication skills, improving attention, focus, social skills, memory, and academics, and decreasing problem behaviors.
