Holyoke Children’s Museum, September 22nd, 2019. 10:00am – 11:30am. Join a special adoption party for children of all ages with special needs who are waiting in foster care to be adopted. These children have physical and/or developmental delays or are on the autism spectrum. Meet children waiting for adoption, as well as their social workers.
* This museum setting offers a calm, quiet and tactile environment where the children will have “hands-on” activities to explore and enjoy at their own pace.
* This party is open to all people and families who maybe interested in meeting these children and their social workers and learning about the adoption process and how to start it.
* This event is also open to families who are in the process of being home studied or are already licensed to adopt from foster care, and to those who are just in the beginning stages of thinking and learning about adoption from foster care.
