June 9th, 2020, with the Federation for Children with Special Needs. The presenters will be Presenters: Renée Marchant, Psy.D., Pediatric Neuropsychologist and Stephanie Monaghan-Blout, Psy.D., Director of Therapy Services; Trauma-informed Therapist.
* Renée Marchant provides neuropsychological and psychological assessments for youth who present with a variety of complex, inter-related needs, with an emphasis on identifying co-occurring neurodevelopmental and psychiatric challenges. Her specialty is evaluating developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder and social-emotional difficulties stemming from mood, anxiety, attachment, and trauma-related diagnoses. She often assesses children who have “unique learning styles” that can underlie deficits in problem-solving, emotion regulation, social skills, and self-esteem.
* Stephanie Monaghan-Blout specializes in the neuropsychological and psychological assessment of children and adolescents with complex learning and emotional issues and enjoys consulting to schools on these issues. She oversees therapeutic services, providing therapy and psychoeducational counseling and, in the time of the COVID-19 crisis, providing teletherapy to parents and teens.
