Circle of Vietnamese parents is a group of Vietnamese speaking parents of children with special needs getting together to support one another, to network, to share experience caring for children with special needs, and to share resources.
 *  Topic: Safety Plan for Kids on IEP. Buổi trò chuyện sẽ giúp phụ huynh có thêm kiến thức về việc lên kế hoạch chuẩn bị an toàn cho các con và cách làm việc với nhà trường để đảm bảo liệt kê tất cả các phần đảm bảo sự an toàn cho các con ở các môi trường khác nhau.
* About the speaker: Trò chuyện với Carrie Noseworthy, MPA, Safer Me. Carrie Noseworthy is the founder of A Safer Me, and a Consultant/Trainer with the Autism Law Enforcement Coalition (ALEC) statewide for Mobile Crisis Units as well as state agencies. She works under the direction of the Massachusetts ARC to provide autism training to assist agencies to better understand Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and how to interact with individuals with ASD that complements their own training. The goal is increased safety for providers and individuals with ASD, a better understanding of autism, and favorable outcomes and increased quality of care.
