Internet Safety for Students Special Needs Workshop in MassachusettsOnline, June 16th – July 31st, 2020, with a pediatric neuropsychology practice and treatment center in Massachusetts. During this pandemic, students need to use technology to access school work, but what do you do if your teenager is on their device all the time, and it’s hard to tell when they’re doing work, gaming or using social media? How much is too much? When do you consider overuse an addiction? Do you worry about them ever being able to get back on a daily schedule?
* This is not a group that tells you “the answers,” but instead provides a space for parents to share ideas and strategies, as well as get support from other parents who have similar concerns.
* Facilitated by: Nancy Roosa, Psy.D. and Sophie Bellenis, OTD, OTR/L.
Tuesdays, June 16, 23, 30, July 7, 14, 21 from 10:00 – 11:00 am.
Participation in the group is for every session.
To register, please email Jane Hauser at: jhauser@nesca-newton.com.
* A brief pre-screening call will take place prior to the group starting up.
* After that call, a link will be provided for the group.
