Cambridge, MA, March 3rd – May 5th, 2019. Free. Weekly running programs for children 6-14 on the autism spectrum, as well as their neurotypical siblings. Coached by college student-athletes. Step Ahead is a national, college student-athlete directed network.
* The program strives to increase the self confidence and skill levels of its runners by providing a positive, supportive environment.
* Step Ahead emphasizes the opportunity for both parents and athletes to make valuable connections in a welcoming community space. By connecting enthusiastic and engaged student-athletes with communities across the country, they hope to increase children’s opportunities for exercise and social engagement on a weekly basis.
