Winchester, MA, August – December, 2023 with Winchester Pop Warner. This adaptive Cheerleading program welcome athletes from the surrounding towns. For all non-neurotypical children ages 5 – 17 (as of 8/1/23).
* The program was started in 2019 by our former Cheer Director, Maria O’Connor, who has a relative that isn’t neuro typical and friends with kids with a multitude of different abilities.
* The last two seasons they have performed at each of the division competitions in addition to the Regionals and Nationals(in Florida).
* Last year at Nationals there was one other team Adaptive team.
* The group practices 1 time per week for an hour from August – December; per form at 4 Cheer events and 4 football games.
