Foxboro, Patriot Place, April 8th, 2023. Special Olympics Massachusetts will be hosting a Unified Clinic and Tryout for the 2023 Revs Unified Soccer Team for athletes and Unified partners between the ages of 16-24. Open to the first 50 individuals.
*The tryout is designed to be fun and give you the opportunity to make the New England Revolution Unified Team.
Tryout Details:
* A training session will be run by The New England Revolution Academy and will consist of skill stations with a short scrimmage at the end.
* Must be between the ages of 16-24.
How the team will be picked:
* The team will be picked from those at the tryout.
* In order to be eligible for the team you must be present at the tryout on April 8th and be able to commit to ALL of the following:
· Practices
· Home AND away matches that require traveling.
· Additional scrimmages/friendly matches throughout the summer.
* Preference will be given to players who have not been on the Revolution Unified Team for more than two years.
Bring: Bring whatever you need to play soccer, but make sure these items are included:
· Appropriate workout/soccer attire
· Soccer cleats or shoes you will wear during the clinic (surface will be artificial turf)
· Shin pads & socks (and anything else you use while playing – goalie gloves, knee or ankle braces, etc.)
· Long sleeve/sweatshirt/light jacket for after training
· Water bottle
