Rehabilitation of Hand Function in Youth with Cerebral PalsyNortheastern University, Boston, October 5th, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. , 2019. All families of children with cerebral palsy are invited to hear Dr. Andy Gordon, Director of the Center for Cerebral Palsy Research at Columbia University, present a family-centered overview of evidence for current approaches to the rehabilitation of hand function in children and youth with Cerebral Palsy.
* Dr. Gordon and his team study hand motor control in individuals with CP, and is considered a pioneer in modifying constraint-induced movement therapy (CIMT) for children with CP.
There will also be opportunities to tour the research labs and learn about how to get involved in research studies.
