Middle School Students Study Executive Function Organization Habits Workshop in MassachusettsNeedham, MA, August 20th & 21st, 2019. The shift from 8th grade to 9th can be intimidating for many students. Take charge of your transition into high school with the organizational know-how that will carry you successfully through the next four years.
* Explore the best study techniques for exams, and hone your approach to active reading, note-taking, and essay-writing in order to make homework-time efficient and accommodate for extra curriculars.
* Over two evening sessions, Commonwealth Learning Center’s Kat Marsh, M.Ed., will introduce rising high school freshmen to core executive function skills.
* Participants will complete guided assessments, learn effective strategies for managing their time and materials, and practice key methods of studying.
* They will leave with an individualized step-by-step plan for high school success.
