Webinar Series for SEPACs and Special Needs Trainers in Massachusetts (2)Virtual Training starts February 22nd – Spring 2021. Mass Families invites you to apply to participate in the Advanced Family Leadership Series, a four month-long intensive study of leadership, innovative and emerging best practices, strategies for peer support and community organizing.
*  This training will connect participants in real time, asynchronously, and in an online forum.
* You’ll be asked to develop your own materials, with the goal that you’ll use these to support other families in your network and potentially as a presenter at MassFamilies trainings.
* The ideal candidate for the Advanced Family Leadership Series has attended a portion of the Family Leadership Series or Advocacy Bootcamp, agrees with oMassFamilies Core Values and Guiding Principles, and has a passion for supporting other families to develop their own leadership skills.
* Translation and live language interpretation are available, as are daily stipends for your meals for each day you are training.
* Respite funding and Chromebooks are available to those who require them to participate.
* The first event together will be on February 22, 2021
* Further training sessions in March, April, May, and June will be scheduled according to the group’s availability.
