Virtual course for educators, July 20th – 24th, 2020, with Landmark in Prides Crossing, MA. The information presented in these course modules is appropriate for educators at all level and covers:
- Dyslexia: Defines dyslexia and other related learning disabilities.
- Overview of Reading Development: Presents an overview of reading development and how reading development is impacted for students with language-based learning disabilities.
- Introduction to Teaching Writing: Provides an overview of the hidden demands that make writing a challenging task for students with learning disabilities. This module also introduces diagnostic assessment, process writing, and an appropriate hierarchy of writing skill instruction
