Somerville, October 14th, 2017. For parents and professionals, a conference focused on bettering the lives of challenging kids, and hear from experts about topics related Collaborative Problem Solving and the many ways it can be employed in different settings and across age groups.
Speakers:
*  Keynote Speaker, Dr. Bruce Perry, author of “The Boy Who Was Raised As A Dog” and “Born For Love: Why Empathy is Essential and Endangered”, will present the topic: Integrating Core Concepts of the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics with CPS.  Hear an overview of key principles of neurodevelopment, review key functions of the brain, and outline the hierarchy of brain development. From there, Dr. Perry will describe how the NMT approach can help professionals determine the strengths and vulnerabilities of a child and create an individualized intervention, enrichment, and educational plan matched to his/her unique needs and which can be integrated with CPS to provide an even fuller approach to therapeutic work and healing.
*  Founder and Director of Think:Kids, Stuart Ablon, PhD, will deliver opening remarks and provide Think:kids updates. Dr. Ablon will also be providing closing remarks.
