Tufts Pediatric Dental Clinic, Boston, MA, February 15th, 2020. Free but appointments are required. Created to introduce children with Autism Spectrum Disorder ages 3 – 12 to the dental chair and clinic. Children will experience what happens during a dental appointment in order to make their next dental visit most successful.
* This is NOT a dental visit and there will be no procedures.
* Expect fun dental activities aimed at get your child accustomed to the dental experience.
▪ Each appointment will last approximately 30-40 minutes and include:
▪ Trying on the dental bib, sunglasses, etc.
▪ Reading a story about going to the dentist
▪ Playing with puppets and going up and down in the dental chair
▪ Your child will receive a gift bag with items that can be used at future dental appointments
▪ Siblings: If you need to bring a sibling, there will be volunteers and play activities in a separate room.
