UMass Medical School, Worcester, April 2nd, 2020, 5:30 – 8 p.m. UPDATE – Event Cancelled. From the event host… After much deliberation, we have decided to cancel our World Autism Day event for this year. As you know, numerous events have been cancelled around the country in order to limit potential exposure to and spread of COVID-19. The LIUB Committee wishes to be proactive in our response to this issue and take into consideration public health recommendations of limiting exposure to events with large crowds. We feel the cancellation of this event is the safest response to protect all involved.
Free and open to the public. HMEA/Autism Resource Central, UMass Medical School and UMassMemorial Health Care host this annual event that includes entertainment, food and music as well as a venue where community providers come to share information and resources with families.
* Every year on April 2nd thousands of landmarks and buildings join homes and communities around the world to “light it up blue” in support.
