School Vacation Camps For Kids With Disabilities:
December 27th – 31th, in Chelmsford and Bridgewater. Designed to provide families with a structured alternative for their child with disabilities during school vacations, with fee-based respite care & recreation. Camp Page.

January 19th, 1 p.m., Newton/Auburndale. Basic information about the law, key special education rights and concepts, noncompliance with the law, and steps you can take toward non-compliance and developing an appropriate education plan for your child. See the Front Page.
Sensory-Friendly Films - Yogi Bear:
January 8th, in Dartmouth, Framingham, Tyngsboro and Methuen. Participating theaters provide families with autism and other disabilities an opportunity to enjoy films with the lights up, the sound down, and audience members allowed to dance, walk, shout or sing. Front page.
Opinions about the Mass Rehab Commission Needed:

Planning A Life - Making the Most Out of High School:
February 3rd and 4th, in Boston. This transition conference is for and about students in special education, ages 14 - 22. Topics include Vision Development/Self Advocacy, Transition Planning Forms, How To Develop Transition Goals, Housing, Postsecondary and Employment Options, and more. Scholarships are available.
