Webinar: Sexual Health Education for Teens with Disabilities

Webinar June 15th, 2020, with a pediatric neuropsychology practice and treatment center based in Massachusetts. For parents and caretakers of teens with disabilities.
Sexual Health Education for Teens with Disabilities: Talking about Sexuality with our Kids will discuss the reasons behind the need for comprehensive sexual health education for students with disabilities and examine common barriers to the successful delivery of this information.
* Through a review of human sexual development, learn how education can be tailored to this population and how personal ethics play a role in this topic.
* Discuss concrete strategies for answering questions, providing age-appropriate information and teaching consent.
* Recommendations for resources will be provided.
* Facilitated by:
Sophie Bellenis, OTD, OTR/L, Occupational Therapist; Real-life Skills Program Manager and Coach, NESCA.
