MAICEI College Program for Intellectual disabilities or Autism Spectrum Disorders

Northeast Arc,, Danvers, MA, February 18th, 2020. For parents or guardians of a teen or young adult between 14 and 22 years old who would like some support as you work to prepare your loved one for a fulfilling life beyond school,
* The speaker will be Jessica Stone, Career Specialist, Community of Inclusive Scholars at the MAICEI PROGRAM .
* The Community of Inclusive Scholars Program at Salem State University is part of an initiative out of the Department of Higher Education called the Massachusetts Concurrent Enroll-ment Initiative (MAICEI) that allows students between 18-22 with an intellectual disability or autism spectrum disorder a “college experience” while still being enrolled in their high school programs.
* This program’s goal is to increase their academic, social, and career success by being included in a college or university community of learners.
