Building Bridges: Teen & Adult Social Groups

Quincy, MA, through December 2019. This Inclusion Modified Program is for people ages 13- 22 and ages 22+ with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (IDD), and includes a DSM-5 diagnosis.
* The 13 – 22 social group will help participants recognize, practice, and feel at ease with everyday social encounters while building
confidence, developing friendships, and having fun in a comfortable relaxed atmosphere.
* The 22+ social group goal o is to socialize and strengthen basic life skills while developing friendships, improving communication skills, and practice cooperative interactions. Group members will have the opportunity to utilize these skills through the experience of participating in various activities offed through the Y. Program lead by special education instructors.
* Hosted by the South Shore YMCA Inclusion Modified Programs.
