Watertown, November 16 -November 18, 2018. For ages – 22 . Preparing a tasty, nutritious meal can be assited with several tricks that blind and visually impaired young adults can use in the kitchen. This is an opportunity to receive hands-on training from experienced staff, meet with professional chefs, learn to move confidently in your home kitchen, and get a glimpse into the world of food services.
This program targets several ECC skills with particular focus on the following:
- Independent Living Skills
- Career Education
- Use of Assistive Technology
- Recreation & Leisure Skills
- Social Interaction Skills
